在运行中，运行维护人员应熟悉了解电阻柜智能监测保护装置的功能和操作；正常运行时，电阻柜智能监测保护装置应保证供电正常；当接地电阻柜智能监测保护装置发出报警信号时，用户应有相应的装置来实时监测；系统发生接地故障时，禁止接地变压器的投、切操作；当发生装置故障、电源异常等异常情况时，这时应及时进行检查和处理，当属于特殊故障时，通知厂方维护人员进行检查；当系统发生单相接地时，禁止操作中性点电阻柜装置；当系统发生单相接地时，应尽快解决处理。
